Rob is currently of counsel with the firm.
A good litigator prevails by assembling and distilling a set of disparate, contested facts and often convoluted legal rules into a coherent, compelling story that is readily accessible to a mediator, a judge or jury, or an arbitrator. Rob has honed those litigation skills over four decades litigating a diverse range of complex commercial matters, including contract disputes; fraud and deceptive trade practices and other business tort actions involving misappropriation of intellectual property and other trade secrets and other forms of unfair competition; covenants not to compete; partnership disputes and other issues of corporate governance; securities matters; and banking disputes. His practice also focuses on real estate litigation, including issues of nondisclosure and misrepresentation, enforcement of restrictive covenants, and boundary disputes.
Rob has successfully conducted numerous trials and arbitrations in a variety of federal and state courts and arbitral tribunals throughout the United States. Before joining Keller Rohrback in 1991, he practiced law in New York City.
For decades, Rob has been rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™. The AV Preeminent rating is a testament to the fact that his professional peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence.
